Campus services organization Aramark is introducing Cool Food Meals in 15 postsecondary institutions across Canada to make residence dining more climate friendly. To receive the Cool Food Meals badge, food items must have a carbon footprint below a certain per-meal threshold while meeting a nutritional safeguard. The World Resources Institute has approved 250 Aramark menu items, which will be served at university residence dining rooms across Canada, for the badge.
