Bow Valley College has received $3.8M in funding from the Government of Canada’s Adult Learning, Literacy and Essential Skills Program to lead the Skills for Success: Validation Study. Skills for Success is an updated skills model that includes nine foundational skills that Canadians need to thrive in their work, learning, and life. The three-and-a-half-year project will see BVC completing research to validate the updated model, including designing and piloting skills evaluations and training modules. BVC will use this research to provide recommendations and best practices to support the transition to the updated model. BVC Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
