The Canadian Colleges for a Resilient Recovery (C2R2) will be working with Quick Train Canada to introduce 110 new micro-credential opportunities across Canada. The micro-credentials will focus on construction, natural resources and the environment, transportation, agriculture, and clean tech, and will provide workers with a fully funded way to prepare to work in green jobs. “As smart technology advances and the net-zero economy rolls out across the country, existing industries are adapting to remain competitive and new industries are gaining a strong foothold in the economy,” said Mohawk College President Ron J McKerlie. “Quick Train Canada gives workers an opportunity to prepare themselves today to be forerunners in the workforce of tomorrow.”
