Camosun College recently celebrated the reopening of the Wilna Thomas building at the Lansdowne campus, which has been renewed to enhance the educational experience of students. The revitalized building is open to all Camosun students, staff, and faculty, and includes a gathering hall with an attached patio, a reflection space, an Indigenous learning space, and an Idea Lab. It also includes upgraded classrooms and washrooms, technology, and heating and cooling systems. “The renovations to the Wilna Thomas building bring a lot of very cool and exciting features to the Lansdowne campus that will help students come together and collaborate,” said Camosun College Student Society External Executive Jessie Niikoi. The renovations were supported by $9.3M from the Government of British Columbia. BC| Camosun Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
