Camosun receives $625K pledge for trades sampler program

Camosun College has received a $625K pledge from The Gwyn Morgan and Patricia Trottier Foundation for its trades sampler program. The funds will support this 12-week program over the next two and a half years, enabling participants to try a range of skilled trades while receiving wraparound supports. “Programs like the trades sampler are often workers’ first entry point to the trades,” said Patricia Trottier. “My hope is that this donation enables a new generation to have access to the trades.”
