The Government of Canada has announced that it will be honouring the legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II with a $20M donation to the Queen Elizabeth Scholars (QES) program. The QES program is led by the Rideau Hall Foundation (RHF) in collaboration with Universities Canada and with support from Community Foundations of Canada. The gift will enable QES recipients to participate in international experiences that advance their research and studies. “This gift will ensure that generations of youth have the opportunity to develop a global outlook, empathy, and understanding – all of which are essential for navigating the complexities of today’s world,” said RHF President Teresa Marques.
