The Government of Canada recently announced $6.7M for the Pediatric Outcomes Improvement through Coordination of Research Networks (POPCORN) platform, which will conduct research on the impact of COVID-19 infections on youth. POPCORN will be led by Dr Caroline Quach at CHU Sainte-Justine in Montreal and will bring together pediatric health researchers from research sites across Canada. Sites include research institutes and children’s hospitals located at Dalhousie University, McGill University, McMaster University, Memorial University, Queen’s University, Université de Montréal, Université de Sherbrooke, Université Laval, University of Alberta, University of British Columbia, University of Calgary, University of Manitoba, University of Ottawa, University of Saskatchewan, University of Toronto, and Western University.
