Francophone postsecondary institutions must support each other since they form a minority within the Canadian postsecondary context, writes Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick CEO Pierre Zundel. Zundel says that many Francophone institutions across Canada face similar challenges. He calls for institutions to “stand shoulder to shoulder” across the country to ensure that they are able to access support and continue to give Francophone students the option to train in French. “By creating learning partnerships and sharing best practices, we are strengthening and consolidating our efforts to enable Francophone minority communities to thrive,” said Zundel.
