Laurentian, Health Sciences North receive $800K for nursing program

Laurentian University has announced that it has received up to $800K in partnership with Health Sciences North to support the Accelerated Critical Care Nursing Program. The two-year funding will support the program’s delivery, help bridge the gap between theory and practice, and support nurse retention in Sudbury. “We look forward to continuing to foster an excellent working relationship with HSN and are thrilled that this funding will benefit health care students and workers, alongside all those who seek medical care in the North,” said Laurentian Dean of the Faculty of Education and Health Dr Céline Larivière.
