Laurentian, St Clair, UCalgary celebrate opening of new learning spaces

Several postsecondary institutions across Canada are celebrating the opening of learning facilities on their campuses. Laurentian University has officially opened its new Language Learning Centre, which will be used for improving French and English language skills. St Clair College has collaborated with Zion Robotics to launch a skills incubator where people can gain hands-on experience working with machinery and equipment and use virtual reality to learn about what working on a construction site is like. In Alberta, the University of Calgary has opened the $68.5M Veterinary Learning Commons, which will allow the university to double its annual Doctor of Veterinary Medicine enrolment.
