Loyalist College, Nova Scotia Community College, and Portage College have partnered to develop new supports for members of the Canadian Armed Forces, veterans, and their family members. Under a newly signed memorandum of understanding, the colleges will maximize credit transfer, streamline enrolment procedures, share prior learning recognition strategies, and recognize the additional needs of military-connected learners. “Having just commemorated Remembrance Day, we are keenly reminded of the selfless commitment of those who step forward to serve our country,” said NSCC AVP of Research and Innovation Jeff Taylor. “It is incumbent on us to create a smooth pathway for them when they choose to seek additional education.” Loyalist Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
