Maclean’s releases rankings for top universities in Canada in 2023

Maclean’s has released the Maclean’s University Rankings 2023, which ranks Canada’s universities in three broad categories: undergraduate universities, comprehensive universities, and medical doctoral universities. The top five primarily undergraduate universities were Mount Allison University, the University of Northern British Columbia, Saint Mary’s University, Trent University, and Acadia University and Bishop’s University (tied for fifth). The top five comprehensive universities were Simon Fraser University, the University of Victoria, the University of Waterloo, the University of Guelph, and Carleton University and York University (tied for 5th). The top medical doctoral universities in Canada were McGill University, the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, McMaster University, and the University of Alberta.
