The Government of Manitoba has announced the launch of a “substantive, system-wide consultation process” focused on the province’s Post-Secondary Accountability Framework (PSAF). The work stems from a 2020 report from the Office of the Auditor general and is part of a broader effort to strengthen the government’s overall accountability efforts. The consultation will inform decisions about performance benchmark selection and definitions; the relationship between funding and performance; implementation, monitoring and reporting; and PSAF review processes.
