Memorial University has announced that its bachelor of science in nursing program has received a seven-year national accreditation from the Canadian Association of Schools of Nursing (CASN). The accreditation recognizes the program’s progress since 2015, its increasingly Indigenized curriculum, hands-on learning, research, and scholarly activity. Saltwire reports that the nursing program will also be expanded for the Fall semester with sites in Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, and Happy Valley-Goose Bay with an addition of 72 seats.
