Memorial, Norwegian university sign MOU with focused on marine technology

Memorial University’s Fisheries and Marine Institute has signed a marine-focused MOU with the Norwegian University of Science Technology’s Department of Marine Technology. The MOU will see the partners sharing best practices, hosting educational exchanges, striking industry partnerships, and collaborating on research focused on marine technologies for remote operations and autonomous vehicles. “With connections to energy, fisheries, marine transportation and aquaculture, we realized very quickly there would be many opportunities to work together,” said Memorial Marine Institute Associate Vice-President, Research and Strategic Partnerships Paul Brett. “This MOU is really just the beginning of what will be a strong relationship on many levels.” Memorial Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
