Mohawk College has received the Responsible Futures accreditation from Students Organising for Sustainability UK. Mohawk says that it is the first college in North America to attain this accreditation. This accreditation recognizes efforts related to sustainability, such as commitments to embedding sustainability into student learning and creating institutional change focused on social and environmental responsibility. Additionally, Mohawk announced that it will launch the School of Climate Action and develop new climate- and green skills-focused programs.
