NLC Social Work Diploma program receives seven-year reapproval

Northern Lakes College has announced that its Social Work Diploma program has received reapproval from the Alberta College of Social Workers. The program received a seven-year reapproval, which is the maximum length possible. The review included a thorough review of curriculum, administrative practices, staffing, and faculty and student experiences. “This seven-year reapproval speaks to the quality of the program and the student experience in the program,” said NLC Dean of Humanities, University Studies & Quality Dr Michelle Mitchell. “The hard work of the faculty involved in the delivery of the Social Work Diploma is a significant contributor to the success of the program.” NLC Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
