The Government of Nunavut’s Financial Assistance for Nunavut Student (FANS) has announced the launch of a new part-time study grant. The grant, which will start in fall, is intended to cover the cost of tuition, books, and fees up to nearly $5K per academic year. It does not cover living expenses or travel. To be eligible, students must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents, be accepted at an approved institution as a part-time student, and have been a resident of Nunavut for at least one year immediately before acceptance.
