Postsecondary institutions across Ontario are adjusting mask mandates as the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve. The University of Windsor and Wilfrid Laurier University have extended their mask mandates in response to public health recommendations, and both will be requiring face coverings until further notice. Niagara College has extended its mandatory masking until the mid-term break, with plans to implement a modified masking policy on July 4. Toronto Metropolitan University and St Lawrence College have announced that their mask mandates have been lifted as of June 1st. SLC students in clinical settings with a PPE requirement will still be required to use masks, as will those who have appointments at the SLC Campus Health Centres.
