Queen’s University has launched the new First-Year Foundation program to help new undergraduate students transition to university life. The year-long program will help students to connect with one another through events and activities and provide supports as they transition to university academically and socially. These supports include an information hub called Next Steps, a digital community platform called Raftr, and a self-directed course that prepares students to begin their postsecondary studies. Students are also invited to register for the QSuccess mentorship program, which will match each student with a trained upper-year peer mentor.
