Queen’s University has announced the launch of an Advanced Leadership for Social Impact Fellowship program, which will help executives and professionals better tackle global and social challenges. The one-year, hybrid program is reportedly the first of its kind in Canada. The program draws on various Queen’s faculties and field-leading experts in fields such as environmental biology, chemical engineering, and international business law, and uses a human-centric approach to investigate social issues and move quickly from theory to practice. “Through the Advanced Leadership for Social Impact Fellowship we have the opportunity to foster a community of leaders, from all walks of life, able to drive meaningful solutions for people and the planet,” said Queen’s Chancellor Emeritus Jim Leech.
