Queen’s University has updated its Degree Level Expectations to include supplementary skill sets focused on diversity. The new requirements will ensure that graduates are equipped with the ability to apply knowledge of methodologies/research and scholarship, communicate with others, and understand the limits of their knowledge. The skills that students must demonstrate in order to complete a degree include recognizing diverse worldviews, understanding the limitations of their methods and recognizing potential inequities, exploring problems from different perspectives, and ethically engaging diverse communities. Each program will be evaluated against the new requirements as they go through Queen’s cyclical review process. Queen’s Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
