RRC Polytech finalizes new lease with Southport for aircraft program

Red River College Polytechnic has announced that it is finalizing a new lease with Southport that will allow it to use the Southport facility as home for its Aircraft Maintenance Journeyperson (AMJ) course. Portage Online reports that the polytechnic previously tried to relocate the course to the Stevenson Campus in Winnipeg, but the decision was deferred due to a variety of issues. As part of the five-year commitment, RRC Polytech will be undertaking an Aviation and Aerospace sector review to better understand the sector’s needs going forward.
