Saskatchewan Polytechnic has announced that it has received $3.5M in funding from the Government of Saskatchewan to support tuition-free opportunities to train early childhood educators (ECEs). The Building the Future project will support seven early childhood education opportunities offered through Sask Polytech’s School of Continuing Education. Opportunities include courses, certifications, and Surge Micro-credentials, and a certificate of achievement. The funding will enable Sask Polytech to make additional seats available to address the labour shortage in the sector.
