ULethbridge, Blood Tribe Department of Health sign MOU to expand on-reserve health service delivery

The University of Lethbridge and the Blood Tribe Department of Health have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to expand health service delivery on the Blood Reserve. The partnership will see the two working on a model that will provide the Blood Reserve with health services that meet provincial health mandates, including access to emergency care. The partnership also focuses on enhanced education, research, data collection opportunities, and professional training for the department. “As the Blood Tribe Department of Health Inc grows, we want to ensure we continue to build the capacity of our workforce and create a strong foundation to serve our members,” said Blood Tribe Department of Health CEO Derrick Fox. “With the support and partnership of the University, we are continuing the vision of our ancestors.” ULethbridge Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
