The University of Lethbridge Board of Governors has announced that it has pledged $10M to match funds for new endowed scholarships. The funds will be used to inspire community support for new awards and scholarships that will help the university to attract diverse and promising students and reward them for their hard work. “I applaud the board for this substantial commitment, which will have both an immediate and everlasting impact on the University’s mission to educate students as adaptive learners and strong-minded community leaders,” said ULethbridge President Dr Mike Mahon. “This pledge is a vote of confidence in what we do, who we are as a university and the future that is before us.” ULethbridge Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
