ULFA members vote overwhelmingly in favour of strike

Faculty at the University of Lethbridge have voted in favour of a strike. A strike could begin as early as Thursday at 11:00 AM if a settlement cannot be reached. The University of Lethbridge Faculty Association (ULFA) members voted 92% in favour of the strike, and the organization has filed a strike notice. Classes that are in session at the time that the strike begins will be allowed to be completed. “I think this really shows a profound sense of dissatisfaction with how things have been going at the U of L,” said ULFA President Dan O’Donnell. “I think it’s also evidence that for faculty members enough is enough.” CBC Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
