The University of Manitoba Desautels Faculty of Music has announced a new Master of Arts program in Music Research. The program will feature a flexible curriculum that allows students to align their training in musicology and music theory with their interests and professional goals. Students will complete an academic thesis or develop a practicum focused on the application of music research as a capstone. Graduates of the program will be well positioned to pursue a doctoral program or enter into a variety of related professions.
