The University of New Brunswick Student Representative Council (SRC) launched a digital scavenger hunt during the exam season to provide students with a new way to engage with their campus and learn about their university. The scavenger hunt took place over a week and included around 100 challenges students could complete as they competed for a year’s free tuition. Challenges included a hunt for locations pictured in close-up photos, information on different services and courses offered at UNB, and bonus challenges. All challenges could be completed either virtually or in person. “I wanted to have a fun and interactive way for students to feel engaged and like to create a sense of community, but in a way that was on their own schedule,” said UNB SRC VP of student life Blake Allen.
