UNB launches new master’s, PhD specializations in gender and sexuality in literature

The University of New Brunswick has launched two master’s and PhD specializations in gender and sexuality in literature. Students in the specializations will examine gender and sexuality in literature and how norms found in mainstream literature can be challenged. The specializations will provide a foundation in theoretical approaches, with all students completing the Theories of Gender and Sexuality in Literature: GSL Core Course. “Dedicated social sciences and humanities academic programming helps to educate future community leaders who will drive social progress in making the world a better, safer, healthier and more equitable place for all,” said UNB VP (Research) Dr David MaGee.
