The University of Ottawa’s Faculty of Arts has launched a sustainable cities initiative, thanks to a $1M donation over five years from the Gauthier family. Through the initiative, experts, researchers, and graduate students will collaborate on interdisciplinary research focused on creating sustainable cities. “The human sciences are an integral part of creating sustainable cities,” says Faculty of Arts Dean Kevin Kee, who is spearheading the project. “By combining different perspectives, we will find compelling solutions to some of our biggest problems.” UOttawa Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
