UQAC to construct new educational facility for technical game art certificate, continuing education

The Université du Québec à Chicoutimi has announced that it will be building a new educational facility: the École NAD-UQAC. The new facility will offer a technical game art certificate program that will teach students about 3D creation, modelling, animation, and game engines. It will also offer a variety of continuing education initiatives. “Our partnership with Ubisoft allows us to combine industry, teaching, and research to offer innovative programs in 3D animation, design, and computer science,” said UQAC rector Ghislain Samson. “Our institution is excited to bring this offering to Sherbrooke.” NAD-UQAC is supported by a $1M gift over five years from Ubisoft.
