USask launches rehabilitation science programs

The University of Saskatchewan’s School of Rehabilitation Science has announced the launch of two new master’s level programs.The Master of Occupational Therapy and the Master of Speech-Language Pathology will launch in Fall 2026 with cohorts of 40 learners each. “Our school will be the first in Canada to have occupational therapy, speech-language pathology and physical therapy programs housed together with harmonized programs,” said USask School of Rehabilitation Science Director Dr Brenna Bathl. “This will provide a unique training opportunity for our students to train together and better prepare them for working in interdisciplinary teams.”
