The University of Windsor has reached tentative agreements with two Unifor units, according to the Windsor Star. A strike was avoided earlier this month after an agreement was made with the union to extend the strike deadline. Unifor Local 444 represents campus police and Unifor Local 2458 represents workers at the university’s Energy Conversion Centre, who are responsible for heating, cooling, and hot water across campus. The ratification vote for Unifor Local 2458 is set for Monday.
