UWindsor, WECHU partner to transform residence hall into Health Unit space

The University of Windsor and Windsor-Essex County Health Unit (WECHU) have signed a memorandum of understanding that will see UWindsor retrofit an unused residences space for the Health Unit. Residence Hall West will become a functional space for the Health Unit that will include an expanded office and clinic space. The partnership will also see the two partners consider joint programming as well as collaboration on research, teaching, community service, and experiential learning opportunities. “We are thrilled to partner with such an important organization and are excited about the opportunity this brings to our campus and region,” said UWindsor President Dr Robert Gordon.
