VCC receives CADIA certification to recognize efforts toward EDI

Vancouver Community College has announced that its automotive school has received certification from the Center for Automotive Diversity, Inclusion and Advancement (CADIA). The certification is achieved by organizations who are or who aspire to be equity, diversity, and inclusion champions, and recognizes the work that VCC’s automotive school has done towards EDI. “Attaining CADIA certification is symbolic of our school’s commitment to ensuring that VCC is a place for learners of all walks of life to receive the skills and training they need to succeed in their chosen profession,” says VCC Dean, School of Trades, Technology, and Design Brett Griffiths. VCC says that it is the first in Canada to earn CADIA certification. VCC (1)| VCC (2) Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
