Western receives $10M from English alumnus

Western University has received $10M to support scholarships in the arts and humanities from the late William (Bill) Hodgins, a world-famous interior designer who graduated from Western in 1954. Hodgins’ bequest is the largest ever received by Western‘s Faculty of Arts and Humanities, and it will be used to provide financial support to students through a variety of entrance, continuing, and graduate awards. “Bill’s generosity will open doors for students with diverse interests and backgrounds to pursue their passion and create positive change in the world,” said Western President Alan Shepard.
