NAIT receives $1.27M to support new product testing

The Northern Alberta Institute of Technology has received a $1.27M grant from Alberta Innovates to support new product testing. The funds will enable NAIT’s Centre for Advanced Medical Simulations (CAMS) to expand its product development services. The expansion will provide small- and medium-sized healthcare-focused enterprises with a cutting-edge space for developing and testing new health technologies. “Testing, refining and improving new health and medical technologies in simulated clinical scenarios is essential to patient safety,” said CAMS Director Kerri Oshust. “The Centre for Advanced Medical Simulation has the experience to build that bridge to bring new value to our health ecosystem.” NAIT Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
