Personal Information Privacy Policy
At Academica Group, data security and privacy are of the utmost importance. This commitment is inclusive of our research participants and clients. When you participate in research conducted by our organization, you can be confident that we take the protection of your personal information seriously.
Participation in our research is always voluntary. Participants are free to choose whether to participate and can discontinue participation at any time without penalty.
Personally Identifiable Information
Personally Identifiable Information (PII) refers to information about an individual that could lead to their identification. PII includes, but is not limited to, an individual’s name, location, age, gender, email address, date of birth, racial or ethnic background, and personal opinions.
Collection of Personally Identifiable Information
We will limit the collection of PII to that which is necessary for the purposes identified by us and will collect such information by fair and lawful means. We may collect PII directly from you or receive your contact information from a client or partner organization.

Such steps may include providing information about available support resources or, where warranted by the circumstances, contacting an appropriate client representative, emergency contact, public authority, or emergency service.

Academica Group will periodically review and update this Personal Information Privacy Policy to ensure it remains relevant and reflects evolving industry standards, technologies, legal requirements, and best practices.

Academica Group Future Research and StudentVu Panel
Once a panelist joins our panel, our email messages clearly show how you can opt-out of receiving future email communications by including an unsubscribe link. All communications include an unsubscribe link in the foot of the email.
We will ensure that your Personal Information is kept as accurate, complete and up-to-date as possible. When we collect Personal Information from you, we rely on you for its accuracy.
All Information is securely stored using the methods described in the Academica Group Surveys section above, and we do not sell the Personal Information of panelists and research participants at any time for any reason. Access to private, sensitive and confidential information of research panelists, including contact information, is restricted to authorized employees of Academica Group. When reporting on the findings of research conducted by Academica Group that involves the Future Research and StudentVu Panel, all findings are anonymized and reported in an aggregate form. Individual completed surveys are not made available to the public.
