BC, Mexican states sign agreement to increase opportunities for students, teachers

The Government of British Columbia and Mexico’s Jalisco and Guanajuato state governments have signed new agreements that will increase opportunities for students and teachers to study abroad. BC has signed two memoranda of understanding (MOU) that will support the development of opportunities pertaining to international student movement, reciprocal study placements, institutional partnerships, student and teacher exchanges, and more. “The flow of post-secondary students, educators and ideas between British Columbia and Mexico increases innovation, which supports economic and social prosperity for both regions,” said BC Minister for Advanced Education and Skills Training Anne Kang.
