BHER receives $17.1M to create, scale WIL opportunities, develop new tools and resources

The Government of Canada has announced a $17.1M investment in the Business + Higher Education Roundtable (BHER) over three years to foster work-integrated learning. The investment will be used to create and scale 22,300 work-integrated learning opportunities and to develop new tools and resources for BHER’s WIL Hub. BHER will partner with other organizations to increase opportunities for students from equity-seeking groups, advance WIL-based solutions with a focus on the transition to a net zero economy, and develop and pilot innovative WIL programs.
