The Government of Canada has announced that it is setting up a scholarship program in honour of victims of Flight PS752, the Ukraine International Airlines flight that was shot down on January 8th, 2020. The program is expected to disburse scholarships worth an average of $25K to 176 students to honour the 176 victims. Both Canadian and international students will be eligible for the funds. The Government of Ontario has also announced that it has renewed the scholarships created in honour of the victims and will be providing $10K scholarships for 57 students.
