The governments of Canada and Quebec have announced the investment of nearly $31M into L’Ardoise, an affordable housing project for Université Laval students, through the National Housing Co-investment Fund. The project will include 200 housing units, primarily for students. It will be located near ULaval, and will aim to meet important affordability and environmental targets. “Everyone in Quebec deserves a safe and affordable place to call home,” said Ahmed Hussen, federal Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion. “Now, more than ever, it’s important that we work together to support the young students and help them build a foundation for social and economic success.” Newswire Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
