Collège de l’île moves forward with plans for new Summerside campus

Collège de l’île is moving forward with its plans to create a new Summerside campus. The new campus will include a student residence to support a growing number of students as well as a daycare. Collège de l’île says that creating the campus will also lead to greater services and work opportunities for Summerside students. Wellington mayor Alcide Bernard has criticized the move, saying that the college should focus on developing the campus in Wellington and do more to create jobs in the municipality.
