Conestoga’s CISWP partners with WOHSS to advance workplace health and safety for women

Conestoga College’s Canadian Institute for Safety, Wellness & Performance (CISWP) has signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with the Women in Occupational Health and Safety Society (WOHSS). CISWP and WOHSS will focus on advancing EDI within the workforce by collaborating on events; knowledge creation and dissemination; and developing tools, policy, and practice that focus on women and underrepresented groups. “CISWP values the opportunity to work closely with this large group of OHS professionals to expand their reach and make a difference in workplaces across Canada,” said CISWP Executive Director Amin Yazdani. “As women grow within the occupational health and safety profession, there is also an opportunity to increase the awareness of women’s health and safety in the workplace.” Conestoga Note: Archived stories may contain dead links or be missing source links.
