The First Nations University of Canada has partnered with VMware, Inc to provide 400 students with access to VMware’s digital training program. The online curriculum includes entry-level and advanced courses that focus on helping students achieve technical certifications. Foundation courses include Getting Started in Information Technology and Core Technical skills; and specialized courses include Network Virtualizations, Cloud Automation, App Modernization, and more. “We are pleased to partner with VMware to offer the introductory and selected advanced courses to FN students who are interested in developing the digital skills necessary to lead a positive change in their communities,” said FNU VP, Academic, Dr Bob Kayseas.
