George Brown College and the Liquor Control Board of Ontario have partnered to support women from diverse backgrounds in entering the beverage alcohol industry. George Brown has received funding from the LCBO’s Spirit of Inclusion Initiative to create scholarships, bursaries, and awards for eligible women in related programs at the college. Students will also have the chance to be mentored by industry members. “We believe the beverage alcohol industry should reflect the diversity that exists in our communities,” stated George Brown President Gervan Fearon.
