Humber, SickKids partner on micro-credentials in community mental health leadership

Humber College and the SickKids Centre for Community Mental Health (CCMH) Learning Institute have partnered to offer two new micro-credential programs on leadership for those in community mental health services. The new Excellence in Mental Health Leadership program includes the five-day Excellence in Mental Health Organization and People Management micro-credential and the three-day Excellence in Mental Health Data, Communication, and Influence micro-credential. The programs are offered by SickKids’ CCMH Learning Institute, with recognition and certification provided by Humber. The program is designed for those in leadership positions and those in the mental health sector, and will be delivered online. “This program will better equip current mental health professionals with the knowledge, skills, and tools to emerge as leaders in Ontario’s community mental health sector,” said Humber Continuous Professional Learning dean Frank Cappadocia.
