Lakehead University and Trent University have each recently signed agreements with international institutions to create new program opportunities for their graduates. Lakehead and Pforzheim University in Germany have partnered to create a new dual-degree program for business students. Graduates of the program will attain a Lakehead Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Pforzheim Bachelor of Science degree. Trent and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (MCPHS) in the US have established a new pathway agreement for medical students. Under this agreement, graduates of Trent’s Medical Professional Stream can directly enter MCPHS’s Pharmacy or Optometry doctoral degree programs.
