Lakeland, UAlberta announce new pathway for AST graduates

Lakeland College and the University of Alberta have announced the creation of a new pathway for graduates of Lakeland’s Animal Science Technology (AST) program. The pathway will allow graduates of any AST diploma major to transfer their credits to UAlberta’s Bachelor of Science in Agriculture program through a block transfer. Students will be able to expand their career choices by completing a BSc in agriculture and will develop their knowledge in areas such as biology, biotechnology, and sustainability. The pathway will enable students to graduate with both a diploma from Lakeland and a degree from UAlberta in four years.
